ABR is recruiting for multiple Machine Operators for a fantastic family-owned business in Madison, WI. This innovative company has a great mission as they work together to innovate, recycle and transform valuable natural resources back into new plastic packaging while continuing to push the boundaries of sustainability and innovation.
Day and Night Shifts available 12-hour shifts, 6 : 00 a.m. 6 : 00 p.m. OR 6 : 00 p.m. 6 : 00 a.m.
Starting wages are $19.50 - $20.67. The company has a skill-based pay structure, and you can move up quickly based on performance.

Essential Machine Operator duties :
1. Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to meet product quality requirements while maintain the process control plan.
2. Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption.
3. Machine readiness inspect machinery, equipment and die prior to set-up.
4. Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution.
5. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
6. Identify nonconforming materials / products and work with shift leader for resolution
7. Issue resin material from inventory to line via computer entry.
8. Operate a forklift to place / load resin and finished roll stock in assigned locations.
Quality Standards :
1. Ensure part quality meets established standards
2. Perform housekeeping duties
3. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
4. Conducts material testing to verify quality specifications, records results, and maintains sample library of all tested material by lot
Communication :
1. Complete all shift documentation / paperwork
2. Shift hand-off go over job status and updates with incoming shift
Safety :
1. Participate in safety programs
2. Follow all established safety procedures
3. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
Background Profile :
One (1) year manufacturing or related experience, mechanical aptitude; ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements.
Must be able to pass the forklift certification program upon hire.
