About The Position

ID : 51929893 Shift : Days 5x8 Hr Description : Job general supervision, will evaluate, diagnose and recommend a treatment plan for communication dis-orders of speech and language.

• Upon physician referral, performs evaluations of speech, hearing and swallowing difficulties, makes a preliminary diagnosis and develops treatment plans-Determines the need for individual or group therapy on each client-Documents client s progress-Assists students in clinical rotations in meeting objectives-General Responsibilities : -Performs other duties as assignedSkills : Required Skills & Experience : -Knowledge of the normal development of speech, language and hearing.
• Ability to perform diagnostic tests for communication disorders and formulates a treatment plan. -Must be able to interact in a patient, encouraging manner with clients to understand their communication needs and assist them in achieving the pro-gram goals specific to them.
• Good interpersonal skills with customers, co-workers and clients. -Must be able to display patience when client s frustration level is high.
