Using Amazon’s large-scale computing resources, you will design and deploy state-of-the-art models that help customers shop on Amazon.
You will ask research questions about customer behavior, design state-of-the-art models that help customers shop, and deploy these models to production.
You will participate in the Amazon ML community and mentor Applied Scientists and software development engineers with a strong interest in and knowledge of ML and generative AI.
Your work will directly benefit customers and the retail business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
- Experience in a wide breadth of modeling approaches and applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in building machine learning models for business applications
- Experience in applied research
- Experience mentoring a team of applied scientists
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and generative models (text and image)
