The Kittay Senior House of The New Jewish Home is searching for a full time temporary Marketing Assistant. The selected candidate for this position will sit in the Bronx, and travel regularly to community, professional and healthcare facilities in the Metropolitan area.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm with possibility of some weekends for coverage.
Below is the summary of the position's responsibilities :
- The assistant will help ensure prompt follow up with leads, assist in the coordination of move in procedures, and facilitate tenant adjustment to the Kittay community.
- The assistant will maintain accurate records of outreach and marketing activities
- The assistant will help identify, develop and communicate with referral sources in conjunction with the Kittay marketing team.
Specifies duties are :
- Meet with potential tenant, family or social worker to provide information to enhance move in process to Kittay Senior Apartments.
- Assists with the move in process including but not limited to : collecting initial checks, ensuring units are move in read, providing keys and emergency pendants.
- Works a flexible schedule to ensure full staff coverage and participation in community networking events including weekends and evenings.
- Enters all contact information into CRM- Customer Relationship Management System.
- Completes and submits forms related to section 8 vouchers.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates Degree
- Enjoys working with older adults
- With high interpersonal skills and a team player
- Marketing experience in geriatric work setting is preferred
