Job Description Summary
The role of the Maintenance Technician is crucial in providing technical support for the production lines, resolving complex maintenance issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of machinery and equipment.
This position involves professional and collaborative coordination and communication with other departments.
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs machinery and equipment to original standards, and responds to trouble calls to support production and other departments.
They are also responsible for projects supporting plant requirements and ensuring adherence to safety and best-practice procedures.
Job Description Responsibilities
- Mechanical Systems : Analyze and repair mechanical systems, troubleshoot breakdowns, and identify areas for future concern.
- Electrical Systems : Analyze and repair electrical systems, troubleshoot breakdowns, and identify areas for future concern.
- Equipment Installation and Relocation : Safely handle the installation and relocation of equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning in production and support areas.
- Pneumatic Systems : Analyze and repair pneumatic systems, troubleshooting breakdowns, and identifying areas for future concern.
- Hydraulic Systems : Analyze and repair hydraulic systems, troubleshoot breakdowns, and identify areas for future concern.
- CNC and Pneumatic Equipment : Troubleshoot and repair all CNC and pneumatic equipment on production lines, including installing and setting up new machinery.
- Preventive Maintenance : Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical experience with 500V AC / DC and below
- Control wiring experience with 24V DC and below
- Knowledge of Servo drives and motors, software-controlled CNC machinery, and PLC's.
- Proficiency in selecting, using, and safely handling tools and equipment.
- Basic working knowledge of mathematical concepts, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and some use of geometry and trigonometry.
Working Conditions
- Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing / pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
- Able to lift-up to 50 lbs. at any given time.

- Work in different temperature-controlled environments
