About The Position
Job Title : Locum Physician Job Specialty : Interventional Cardiology Job Duration : 13 months Shift : 24-Hour Shifts Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Active Utah license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) Certifications : Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Active BLS, Active DEA Must-Have : - Available for specified shifts as detailed - Understanding and completion of EMR training requirements - Clean malpractice / background preferred;
must include a self-inquiry NPDB report Job Description : - Provide 24-hour STEMI call coverage for sporadic dates.- Perform inpatient, call, and emergency room duties.
- Required procedures include left and right heart caths, coronary angioplasty / stents, balloon pump / Impella, transesophageal echo, and pacemakers.
- Provide general cardiology services with support from echo techs, lab techs, RNs, X-ray techs, and nuclear techs.- Use of EMR system, EPIC, with prior completion of required training modules.
- Coverage required from late October onward, starting as soon as credentialing is complete (2-3 weeks).- Responsible for backfilling a retiring provider while a full-time replacement is recruited.
Note : Travel guidelines and credentialing information are included in the provider presentation. Completion of credentialing and required training is necessary before the start date.
