The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Vice President of Marketing, Parks to join our team. As the Vice President of Marketing, you will be responsible for driving the marketing agenda for Delaware North’s Parks and Resorts brands.

Minimum Anticipated Maximum Base Salary : $168700 - $239100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.

The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position.

Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain an effective organizational structure and marketing strategy for the Parks and Resorts revenue generation efforts, leading planning for each brand
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to adjust marketing and sales strategies, oversee targeted sales campaigns, and enhance client engagement
  • Lead the marketing team by setting clear objectives, performance goals, and professional development plans, ensuring high performance and innovation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners, OTAs, and corporate clients, implement yield management practices, and maximize revenue during peak and off-peak periods
  • Establish and manage marketing standard operating procedures, budgets, vendor relationships, and conduct regular performance reviews of key metrics to ensure optimal revenue outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at the executive level, able to effectively communicate and influence senior leadership
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience with experience marketing for multiple resorts, lodging and / or tour / experience companies.
  • Data driven marketing focused expereince required
  • Ability to work across a matrixed organization with multiple key stakeholders in a collaborative manner
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team
