KCR Corporation is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at a multifamily 222-unit community in Como area of St.

Paul. This position is available immediately. Compensation based on qualifications / experience. Company benefits include 401K / Health / Dental / Life / LTD and PTO.

Possibility of on-site apartment with discount.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform a variety of maintenance / minor repair within the property to include interior / exterior and parking lots.
  • Complete general work and repair orders in a timely fashion to include plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and basic electrical.
  • Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
  • Required to provide after-hours, on-call service on a rotating basis with other maintenance staff.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years building maintenance experience performing some carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions.
  • Ability to safely operate power and hand tools.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Capability to diagnose problems on equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety rules, hazards and application of accident prevention measures
  • Boilers License and / or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire (company paid).
  • Pool license and / or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire (company paid).
  • Customer relation skills. Kind, respectful, helpful always.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
