Operations Manager, Global Communications and Brand Engagement (Hybrid)

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the Global Communications and Brand Engagement (GCBE) team. Ensure that the business goals, strategies, and policies are implemented effectively and efficiently.

This role will also support managing and monitoring the budget, planning, and analytics of the operations, and report on the performance, challenges, and opportunities to GCBE leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct the operations within GCBE teams in alignment with the overall business strategy and objectives
  • Manage and monitor the budget, resources, and expenditures of the operations, and ensure compliance with financial and legal regulations.
  • Analyze and evaluate the operational data, metrics, and reports, and provide insights and recommendations to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the operations.
  • Implement and maintain the operational policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure adherence to the best practices and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the internal and external stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, partners, employees, and senior management, and ensure smooth and timely delivery of the operational outputs and outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve any operational issues, risks, or problems, and escalate them as needed.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the operational staff, and provide feedback, coaching, and training to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the operational field, and implement new technologies, tools, or methods to optimize the operations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.

Work Experience / Skill Set

  • At least 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role, preferably in the same or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in budgeting, planning, and analytics, and proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills, and ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on data and evidence.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn and embrace new challenges and opportunities.
