Job Summary

The Retail Business Analyst and Sales Support will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business goals and sales strategies.

This position involves analyzing business processes, developing actionable reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the sales team to achieve targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, vast experience with Power BI, an understanding of banking products and services, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create comprehensive, user-friendly visualizations and reports to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across departments.
• Examine business results and processes to identify key trends, inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
• Gather and document business requirements for new projects and enhancements.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement improvements and updates.
• Interpret information and data that provides insight into business performance.
• Examine branch data, looking for trends and abnormalities; examples include hours, deposits, loans, fees, etc.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive management.
• Translate business owner wants into project specifications.
• Integrate multiple data sources to create more robust reports / dashboards.
• Assume ad hoc duties as requested.
• Must be able to perform most duties with minimal supervision.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Strong PC application skills with knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced Power BI skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include : pivot tables, lookup formulas, macros, cell based reference add-ons (CBR).
• Familiarity with statistical software and / or programming languages such as : Stata, SQL, SPSS, VBA, Python etc.
• Ability to perform moderately complex to complex assignments and handle diversified duties and coordination of related activities.
• Attentive to detail and accuracy and strong follow-through to ensure tasks are completed as expected.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks for multiple layers in the organization.
• Capability to work well alone and with others in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on the team schedule and upcoming deadlines.
• Flexible and able to handle change well in a fast pace environment.
• Willingness to learn new things, ask questions and clarify information.
• Maintain a professional appearance, as outlined in the Dress Code Policy.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, economic, computer science, or mathematical related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of report development and / or analytical analysis.
• Dashboard development / analysis required.
• Overall retail banking experience and knowledge preferred.

Position hours

Monday-Friday 8 : 00-5 : 00 CST.
