EHS Manager
Our client, a manufacturing company recognized as an industry leader, is looking to add an EHS Manager to their team.
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of manufacturing operations, developing sustainable practices, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in EHS management within the manufacturing sector, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and employee wellbeing.

Focus :
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety and environmental management programs.
- Monitor compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential environmental and safety hazards.
- Implement preventative measures and develop policies to mitigate identified risks.
- Lead training sessions and workshops to educate employees on safety regulations and environmental impact.
- Manage emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring readiness and effective execution.
- Analyze accident reports and evaluate injury case studies to identify areas for improvement.
- Drive initiatives to reduce waste and enhance sustainability efforts across all operations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and handle inspections and audits related to environmental health and safety.
- Maintain records of EHS incidents and actions taken to resolve issues.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in EHS practices by leading cross-functional teams.
Skill Set :
- Associate Degree or two years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of work experience in EHS / Sustainability related fields in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with OSHA regulations and excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry safety standards.
- Extensive experience in Quality Management.
- Strong background in environmental compliance, including air and water permits.
- Proven expertise in Safety Management.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset with the capability to implement and manage change effectively.
