Assistant District General Manager
Overview
CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring a full-time Assistant District General Manager (ADGM) in Las Vegas, NV. CORT provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl!

The ADGM assists in planning, directing and leading the profitable growth of district operations for a specific location within our national organization.
The ADGM serves as a working manager who coordinates all district operating and general administration functions including inventory management, warehouse and delivery operations.
The ADGM is responsible for balancing performance, safety, and productivity for daily operations as well as managing key client relationships.
This is an onsite position performed from the CORT distribution centers and event venues that CORT delivers to.
Annual salary for this position is $95,000.

Responsibilities
- Develops, recommends and implements policies for the overall district including operating plans and budgets in conformance with district and company policies and practices
- Collaborates with the sales and operations teams to coordinate, plan and optimize the sales activities
- Represents the Company to local (trade show and event) general contractors, establishes relationships with contractor management and attends various tradeshows
- Directs outbound inventory management efforts, controls, warehousing, and delivery operations
- Successfully engages with exempt, non-exempt and temporary labor
- Ensures employee compliance with established security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures and practices
- Directs the processes involved in business organizational planning, coordination, and execution
- Oversees all budgets, forecasts, purchasing, and P&L
- Responsible for the safety policies and practices of a district including DOT and OSHA
- Responsible for growth and development of staff to include performance management, hiring, and succession planning
Qualifications
- 4 year college degree with 6+ years work experience preferred
- Warehouse and Distribution management, aligned with direct customer service oversight and management experience highly desired
- Great communication skills with customers, employees, and other leaders
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to work with others and inspire
- DOT experience preferred Regulations and Reporting standards
- Must have valid state driver’s license and safe driving record
- Prior experience in tradeshow or events operations is a plus
- Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Must pass drug screening, background checks and MVR checks (if applicable) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
