Job summary
We are looking for an established Podiatrist to join the Community Podiatry Team based in Dorchester, with the need to travel to other locations within West Dorset.
Being a driver is essential for this post.
As the Senior Podiatrist you will cover a range of podiatry services. Our work focuses on routine and ulcer care for the patients with high-risk feet including patients with diabetes, rheumatoid conditions and other complex health will have excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for improving patient care.
The ability to liaise effectively with patients, other podiatry colleagues and the wider members of the healthcare team such GPs, district nurses, MDTs to ensure timely delivery of care and treatment will be important.

The Senior Community Podiatry role is a full-time position. We would be flexible and welcome part time applications with a minimum of hours.

The post holder will be responsible for :
The assessment, diagnosing, planning and implementation of high-risk podiatric care, including ulcer management, for patients with a wide range of clinical needs.
Providing education and health promotion .
Providing a high-quality person-centred approach to care delivery which always considers people's safety, privacy, and dignity.
Providing specialist advice to others regarding the management and care of patients / service users.
Providing supervision, mentorship, training and clinical support to students, apprentices and trained practitioners.
