Job Duties :
- Draft and prosecute patent applications primarily in Electrical Engineering.
- Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate searches and analyses.
- Assist in managing patent portfolios and developing IP strategies.
- Collaborate with inventors and attorneys to prepare technical documents.
- Communicate with clients regarding patent prosecution matters.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Patent Agent or in a similar role.
- Admission to practice before the USPTO is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patent laws and procedures.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
