Controls Engineer III

Position Overview

The Controls Engineer III is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex industrial control systems to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.

This role requires a strong background in automation and instrumentation, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement industrial control systems including PLC and HMI solutions.
• Develop and maintain SCADA systems for process monitoring and control.
• Utilize virtualization technologies to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities to ensure system uptime and performance.
• Analyze process requirements and develop control strategies to optimize performance.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for control system issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for control systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, SCADA, and PLC programming.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with low voltage instrumentation and automation systems.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
