About The Position
Job Title : Radiologic Technologist (MRI)Job Specialty : MRIJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : Day - 3x12 - 8 : 30 AM - 9 : 00 PM, Friday-SundayGuaranteed Hours : 36 hours per weekExperience : Minimum 2 yearsLicense : ARRT in MR or Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (if ARRT certified in X-Ray or Computed Tomography)Certifications : ARRT, BLSMust-Have : N95 fit tested, experience in IV skillsJob Description : - Perform MRI imaging, including studies of the brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, and musculoskeletal system.
- Image patients with implanted devices, ensuring thorough research prior to imaging.- Float to outpatient clinics if needed.
- Perform an average of 28 scans / studies per day.- Utilize EPIC and Sectra PACS for electronic medical records and imaging communication.
- Operate GE 1.5T & 3T at the main hospital and Philips or Hitachi equipment at outpatient clinics.- Work under the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, Kenneth Crossland.
- Collaborate with radiologists who are in-house.- Participate in the holiday and standby rotation as required.- Wear personal scrubs;
hospital scrubs provided only to OR staff.- Complete department-specific orientation.Please note : COVID-19 vaccine is required for this position.
