About the Position

We are looking for a Business System Analyst (BSA) who is well versed in the NetSuite platform. We are expanding the use of NetSuite within our organization, increasing its value by improving business processes, increasing adoption, and automating flows.

The BSA will work closely with the Finance team and IT to gather requirements to analyze, design, and oversee successful delivery of projects.

This role will function as a liaison between business and technology (IT) and will require in-depth, hands-on expertise on the NetSuite platform and a good understanding of data integration between systems such as Salesforce.

Key Stakeholder Relationships

This position works closely and collaboratively with all Energy Exemplar staff, but in particular Finance Controllers, CFO, and IT.

Key Accountabilities and Duties

• Work with business leaders, decision-makers, and end-users to gather business and functional requirements, understand Finance and Accounting processes, and write clear and concise documents for sign-off.
• Translate high level business processes and problem statements to detailed functional requirements, propose functional design solutions, and create reports by utilizing the standard NetSuite functionality and configurations / setups as appropriate.
• Perform gap analysis between NetSuite functionality and business processes, evaluate solutions using standard functionality, and justify technical customizations as needed.
• Define and Scope business requirements, in conjunction with the end users and senior Senior Management, for timely delivery of projects / workstreams.
• Work with technical teams to provide clarity on deliverables and drive the user acceptance testing / QA and go-live tasks as per schedule.
• Work with Project Manager to prioritize quick wins (enhancements, fixes, and integrations) and long-term strategic projects, communicate on project status and system changes to user community / Senior Management on a regular basis.
• Create end user training documentation and support training activities as required to increase the NetSuite skillset and adoption across the organization.
• Define system requirements to integrate NetSuite to systems like Salesforce and other FPNA tools.
• Serve as the secondary system administrator for the NetSuite environment managing basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, security, workflows, screen layouts, data import / export, workflows, and other routine tasks.
• Work on design of reports that support business processes and deliver business insights for making data-driven decisions by management.
• Achieve and maintain a solid understanding of NetSuite architecture and its various integrations, including business practices, processes, and strategy.

Candidate Requirements

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience :

• Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with others by making customer satisfaction and solution quality / integrity high priorities for self and team.
• Ability to assess the impact of enhancement requests across the Netsuite platform and its integrations, including all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
• Strong interpersonal, planning and organization skills, ability to lead discussions, present ideas, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in completing various, multiple, and changing business priorities, requirements, and projects.
• Must be self-motivated, demonstrate a "can-do" attitude, and be a "results" driven individual with a positive attitude for timely delivery of agreed-upon solutions.
• Minimum of 5+ years of BSA experience in complete software development life cycle process including system analysis, design, development, user testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite and General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Purchasing, Order Entry, Accounts Receivables, Contracts, Revenue Management and Suite Analytics modules.
• Experience with integrating NetSuite to CRM systems and other business systems.
• Experience with FPNA tools.
• Experience working with geographically diverse teams, remote employees, and consulting partners.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a technical field, with 5+ years of related work experience.
• NetSuite Certifications are a huge plus, e.g. NetSuite SuiteFoundation.
• Worked in a fast-paced technology company and have completed multiple complex projects from concept to launch.
