Software Engineer-III - Security Clearance Required

Description : The Kayenne Program develops and maintains a secure, hybrid environment that facilitates high priority defense initiatives, in addition to developing and integrating highly-available software applications.

As a Software Engineer on a DevSecOps program, you’ll integrate custom applications with our existing suite of application monitoring infrastructure and data feeds, develop highly-available applications to enhance the environment and provide new capabilities, work through our software factory to shape CI / CD pipelines, and troubleshoot software defects.

Basic Qualifications :

Experience with agile software development and using tools such as Jira or VersionOne

Experience with Linux and scripting languages (Bash, Python)

Active TS / SCI to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI with Poly

Desired Skills :

Experience developing Java and Spring Boot applications

Experience developing with JavaScript and Angular

Experience with GitLab and building CI / CD pipelines

Experience with automation tools such as Ansible

Experience with application monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, or Splunk

Experience developing and using RESTful APIs

Experience applying DISA STIGs

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate :

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
