Stratacent is seeking for a Tableau Developer specializing in the conversion of SAS Stored Process-based reports to Tableau, the candidate will play a pivotal role in modernizing our reporting infrastructure.
Also, will be responsible for understanding existing SAS reports, designing equivalent Tableau dashboards, and ensuring seamless data integration and visualization.
Location : Dallas, TX / Mclean, VA
Duration : 4 - 5 Months
Responsibilities :
- Analyse existing SAS Stored Process-based reports to understand their structure, data sources, and business logic.
- Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports that replicate the functionality and data of the current SAS reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that the new Tableau reports meet their needs and expectations.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to prepare it for use in Tableau.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
- Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the transition from SAS to Tableau.
- Document the conversion process, including data mapping, report logic, and user guides.
- Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and best practices to continually improve reporting solutions.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role.
- Proven experience with SAS and Tableau, including report development and data visualization.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Strong knowledge of SAS, including SAS Stored Processes and data integration techniques.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Experience with other BI tools and technologies.
- Certification in Tableau or SAS.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
