The mission of Jordan Valley is to improve the health of our community by providing high-quality and accessible medical, dental, Vision, and behavioral health services to Southwest MO.

1. Take medical histories and perform patient examinations.
2. Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays.
3. Make diagnoses.
4. Provide health care services in patients’ residences.
5. Conduct Women’s Health and Pediatric Wellness Exams.
6. Perform preventive procedures such as immunizations.
7. Prescribe medications and other therapies.
8. Monitor and record patient progress.
9. Educate patients about their health and instruct them in self-care techniques.
10. Promote wellness practices.
11. Respond to medical emergencies.
12. Performs work of equal skill and responsibility as directed. May also perform work of a higher level in preparation for increased responsibility and may be requested to perform work of lesser responsibility when workload of department so requires.
13. Refer patients to other physicians and other health care providers as needed.
14. Attend and participates in weekly case conferences
15. Work independently and must be responsible, self-confident, and have excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
16. Maintains records and reports as required by regulatory agencies and accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
17. Work with a variety of patients and must be caring, compassionate, and able to communicate well with people of all ages and backgrounds.
18. Promotes effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Clinic’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
19. Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the Clinic’s overall mission.
20. Responsibly follows the Clinic Exposure Control Plans / Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
21. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
22. All other duties as assigned.

Requiremnts :
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (master’s degree), specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Two (2) years Nurse Practitioner experience. Preferably working with underserved populations. Preferably experience with Pediatrics and Women’s Health
- Missouri State Advance Practice Nurse License
- Current BLS or ACLS Certificate required
