Position Overview :
Responsible for maintaining the operating condition of all machines. Also responsible for coordinating related vendors, as needed, and providing general assistance for any building maintenance and factory upkeep projects.
Responsible for providing machine preventative maintenance including oil changes and chip removal as scheduled.
Essential Job Functions :
- Update and manage preventative maintenance program
- Schedule and provide machine maintenance to all machines
- Schedule and provide machine maintenance according to preventative maintenance schedule
- Troubleshoot and repair machines as needed
- Maintain UniPoint and repair logs accurately for tracking needs and accounting records
- Provide support to CEO and President as needed
- Crosstrain with support personnel and provide back up as needed
- Conserve energy and organizational resources when possible
Skills / Requirements :
- Assist in other duties as needed and directed
- Working knowledge of machine tool components
- Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot CNC machine controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to read and understand schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
- Ability to efficiently communicate with OEM machine service personnel
- Must be able to identify and contact replacement part distributors as needed
- Maintain confidentiality
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Develops alternative solutions when needed
- Ability to operate and obtain forklift license
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate snowplow
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
