Job Overview :

The Vice President of Finance is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial management and operational efficiency of the organization.

This role encompasses the management of corporate accounting, financial reporting, treasury and debt management, tax, and financial business systems.

The VP of Finance will optimize the company’s cash flow, managing banking relationships and the debt portfolio to ensure optimal cash utilization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting, treasury & debt management, tax, and financial business systems.
• Directly manage the company’s cash flow, optimizing cash utilization, including the banking relationships and debt portfolio.
• Lead the company’s financial internal control, compliance, and risk management programs, as well as manage the external audit relationship & processes.
• Partner with the CFO, the executive leadership team, and cross functionally to support key business initiatives, including and not limited to M&A & integration activities, business system enhancements, & process improvements.
• Promote strong team leadership and development by actively leading a team of finance professionals.
• Drive excellence in financial reporting, including potentially public company (IPO) readiness & planning.

Required Qualifications :

• 10+ years of financial leadership and management experience.
• Proven experience in financial leadership, i.e. VP Finance or Corporate Controller level, including extensive working GAAP experience.
• Strong technical skills, including extensive working experience applying GAAP and successful internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.
• Proven ability to attract and retain key talent and drive a high performing team.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Involvement in an IPO process and / or with bringing a private company public, including public reporting & internal control & compliance readiness.
• Manufacturing experience in a global organization.
• M&A, integration, and PPA experience.
• ex-Big 4 audit and / or public company reporting background.
• Experience in private equity backed companies.
• Roll-up-sleeves approach. Self-starter.
• Bias towards action and sense of urgency.
• Charismatic leadership style with the ability to rally a team.
• Effective and concise communicator.
