Do you want to play a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a med-surg setting? Consider joining our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) on the medical surgical unit at our hospital.
Key responsibilities of this role include :
- Evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for assigned patients
- Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures
- Performing patient tests and administering medications within scope of practice
- Promoting patients' independence through goal setting and patient education
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performing a variety of tasks, requiring creativity and latitude
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit / department
Key qualifications to be considered for this role :
- Associate's degree and certified as a registered nurse, Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
