This position, based in New York, reports to the Director, Business Planning & Financial Analysis within the AXP Global Security's Organization.
The incumbent will provide a variety of financial support to the Security Services group, including manage the month-end process through monitoring general ledger and vendor payable report to ensure expenses are posted correctly, prepare accruals, and reclass entries to appropriately chargeback ad-hoc security guard invoice payments to various business units.
Assist with annual budgeting process, risk & opportunity assessments, long range planning by collaborating with local operation managers, vendor accounts manager, and the Corporate Finance team.
Review invoices through Ariba system or email submissions by validate contract rates and hours, verify discrepancies and request for relevant support details.
Track and analyze ongoing security guard and travel & entertainment spends globally to help facilitate strategic decision-making.
Liaise with operation and finance colleagues to support ad-hoc queries.
- Degree in Finance or Accounting with 5 years of work experience preferred.The successful candidate will possess the following key qualifications : excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- strong written, oral communication and presentation skills; strong accounting and financial acumen; comfort with and an eye for detail;
- ability to summarize information into key insights; a consultative approach with key stakeholders, with an ability to generate ideas to improve overall expense performance;
- a self-starter with the ability progress multiple efforts simultaneously; excellent relationship skills; a proven ability to drive outcomes;
a strong work ethic and will-to-win, and demonstrated personal excellence.
Salary Range : $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
