Position Overview :
Position : Plant Operations Leader
Lead plant operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality automotive production environment, focusing on meeting timelines, optimizing processes, and achieving launch readiness.
Responsibilities :
- Safety & Compliance : Partner with Facilities, Maintenance, and EHS to maintain a safe workplace; investigate OSHA incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Quality & Productivity : Develop quality standards aligned with productivity goals; collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Production Leadership : Set production priorities, direct activities, and ensure on-time delivery for both internal and external customers.
- Process Optimization : Coordinate with engineers, production control, and purchasing to streamline workflows, balance inventory, and enhance profitability.
- Performance Tracking : Monitor productivity, initiate action plans for improvements, and train teams on lean practices.
- Launch Coordination : Prepare the plant for successful launches.
- Lean Manufacturing : Six Sigma certification preferred.
