Description

  • responsibilities to include but are not limited to : involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
  • Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary;

Independently manage the time and resources of both themselves and assigned actuarial staff in many cross departmental projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following : premium rate calculations, required reserves, plan designs, trend analysis, rate table construction, contracting, predictive analytics, actuarial research, or systems development.
