We are seeking a Logistics Manager to join our growing team! This role will oversee and coordinate Rockline's domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring efficient and effective transportation and flow of goods.

This role is crucial in managing relationships with our 4PL (fourth-party logistics) provider, multiple cross-docking facilities, various freight forwarders, parcel providers, and local carriers not managed by 4PL providers.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in optimizing logistics processes, ensuring compliance with both domestic and international logistics regulations and standards and project / program management.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Monitor and control logistics costs, both domestic and international. Implement cost-saving initiatives and suggest contract modification to optimize financial performance without compromising service or quality.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize operations across domestic and international markets.

Manage relationships with 3PL / 4PL providers to ensure they meet contractual obligations and performance standards.

Optimize activities across the entire supply chain, ensuring seamless integration of procurement, manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendor partner processes.

Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams, and customers to optimize supply chain operations.

  • Support initiatives received from the Sales teams to meet cost and service goals for customers.
  • Lead Sustainability program for Global Transportation.
  • Maintain KPI reviews with all service providers for logistics and ensure they have appropriate action plans when not meeting them.
  • Ensures the 3PL is compliant with the Rockline financial control systems.
  • Accountable to have raw material costing flow into Finances X1 costing model

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in logistics management, with specific expertise in managing both domestic and international logistics.
  • Experience in lean principles in logistics management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics software, transportation management systems, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience and knowledge of project / program management.
  • Experience in managing transportation providers.
