About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration : 26 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years required;
- Unit accepts first-time travelers License : NC or Compact license; pending OK for submission, required in hand at start Certifications : TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, BLS, PALS;
- ENPC preferred Must-Have : IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation; preferred trauma experience Job Description : Provide expert emergency care to adult patients, including those with STEMI, stroke, and level 2 trauma- Manage patient ratios of 3 : 1 for non-critical and 2 : 1 for critical patients;
medical boarders in ED at 5 : 1- Utilize PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR in daily operations- Participate in a 36-hour orientation, including EKG testing- Comply with dress code : Navy Blue scrubs- Work every other weekend as required- Complete 8-10 hours of modules for acute care rolesPlease note : No block scheduling or RTO after booking is allowed.
Call-offs or additional RTO may result in a cancellation. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Orientation hours are non-billable.
