Role : Project Manager
Location : Tampa, FL. (Hybrid role 2 days a week onsite)
Duration : 12-month contract
Pay rate : Up to $50 / hr W2 (Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, LTD Insurance)
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead complex, multi-dimensional projects for our client that drive significant impact and align with strategic business objectives.
As a trusted authority in project management, you will provide direction and oversight to project teams, ensuring project goals are achieved within scope, on time, and on budget.
This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build cross-functional relationships to achieve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently, leveraging expertise to motivate teams toward achieving common objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans using best practices to meet stakeholder needs, managing deliverables within set budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives, preparing detailed progress reports and updates for management and steering committees.
- Proactively assess potential risks, troubleshoot emerging challenges, and employ mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions.
- Drive accountability and foster best practices by breaking down complex tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring each task aligns with the project’s overarching goals.
- Address project issues and risks through collaborative problem-solving, documenting solutions, and implementing lessons learned.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with sponsors, resource managers, and team members to establish a supportive project environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of compliance, maintaining transparency and integrity in all project activities and decisions.
Qualifications :
- 6-10 years of project management experience, ideally within mortgage or financial services sectors.
- PMP certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain project plans, prioritize deadlines, and meet project milestones.
- Proficiency in project metrics, including reporting, trend analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite, MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
