The Material Handler proactively keeps all Injection Molding machines and Secondary processes supplied with necessary materials and components along with removing products as needed.
Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory counts for materials being moved.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous machining, forklift, and scan gun experience is preferred.
- The ability to perform inventory counts, attention to detail, ability to work independently and multitask.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor IM machines and Secondary production for needed materials and deliver prior to running out
- Ensure correct usage of regrind is being used
- Clean machine material system when changing material types
- Blends material based on BOM details when needed
- Ensure ALL material movements are properly transferred in IQMS immediately, from the existing location to the new location
- Completes ALL paperwork timely and completely
- Responsible to print labels for product ensuring accurate part numbers and box quantities
- As product is completed ensure it is scanned to the machine or secondary location throughout the shift and especially by the end of the shift
- As skids are completed and at the end of a run, ensure product is physically transferred to the warehouse and properly scanned in IQMS
- When production runs are completed, ensure all raw materials are removed and transferred to the warehouse and properly scanned in IQMS
- Ensure all previous materials are removed prior to brining in the next production run materials to avoid mix-ups
- Notify management of inventory discrepancies and troubleshoot to help resolve
- Notify management when inventories are low as compared to past quantities
- Completes all paperwork timely and completely
