Tandem Dump Truck Driver

Full Time 7am-5 Mon-Fri

Our dump trucks primarily haul rock from local quarries to our jobsites within the Quad City area. We are a concrete foundation company, doing the majority of our work from March to December and maintenance in the winter.

Mechanical ability is preferred, but not required.

Minimum Years of Experience Required : 2 Years

Must pass all company and DOT requirements, including DOT medical screen, pre-qualification drug screen.

Proven history of driving with a safe driving record.

Quality minded and customer service-oriented.

Construction experience is a plus, but not required.

Will be working at construction sites in residential and rural areas traveling on city streets, rural roads, highways and interstates.

Driving to and from job sites in all types of traffic and all types of weather.

Our work is primarily within a 50 mile radius of the Quad Cities, including Scott, Muscatine, Cedar and Clinton Counties in Iowa and Rock Island, Henry and Mercer Counties in Illinois.

Job Description :

Hauling rock, sand, dirt and or debris from the quarry to the jobsite. Dump truck drivers must have the ability to safely and properly load, dump, inspect and operate all aspects of the truck.

Drivers will assist with other work when not driving their truck, which could include operation of a skid loader, mini excavator or backhoe.

Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly. Drivers are responsible for performing pre-trip inspections and reporting deficiencies to the mechanic for repair.

Drivers are responsible for completing daily job cards, fuel logs and trip logs. Drivers must have an up to date medical card and valid Class A or Class B CDL.

Must strictly observe all safety rules and promptly report any accidents or injuries to management.
