Job specification

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Monitor and report any changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
• Support patients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that dietary needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including light housekeeping duties.
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and comforting atmosphere.
• Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care as needed.

Candidate requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Hampshire.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Compassionate and patient-focused, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting, moving, and assisting patients.
