Overview
This Business & Accounting position is a part of a dynamic team at the New York School for Career & Applied Studies within Touro University.
The adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, delivery, grading and assessment.
Able to teach in person at 3 Times Square and through virtual synchronous delivery (hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
- Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
QualificationsEducation / Experience
Master’s degree required, Ph.D. preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills, Touro University emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused undergraduate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook
