RN - CMC Medical/Surgical - Orthopedics - Full Time - 12 Hour - Days

Job Description :

The staff registered nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame utilizing the John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA's Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act, Title 22, and Title 16.

The RN coordinates and provides care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology, in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.

Education :

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing - Required
• Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing - Required

Experience :

• 6 Months Nursing - Acute Care - Preferred
• 2000 hours Nursing - Post-Surgical Care - Must be Obtained within last 3 years - Core Requirement

Certifications / Licensures :

RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required

BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required

Skills : Core :

Core :

• Must be competent to care for patients with peripheral nerve blocks and Ketamine infusions.
• Must demonstrate competency and act as a resource to the Post-Surgical Staff in the care of post-surgical emergencies.
• Must be competent in the care of the patient undergoing orthopedic, bariatric, colorectal, and general surgery.

Work Shift :

12.0 - 07 : 00 - 20 : 00 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range :

$77.04 - $104.97Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated / relevant experience and / or licensure.

Note : Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.

The work shift will contain the word exempt’ on it.
