About The Position
Job Title : Outpatient Physical Therapist Job Specialty : Adult Neuro and Occasional Ortho Rehabilitation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : - Monday / Wednesday : 9 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM- Tuesday / Thursday : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM- Friday : 8 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : Minimum of 1 year required License : Valid state license required Certifications : - AHA or Red Cross ACLS- COVID-19 Vaccine (Medical / Religious exemptions only) Must-Have : Experience with geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, sports medicine, and outpatient clinic settings- Skills in adaptive devices, body mechanics, pain assessment, gait training, manual therapy, and patient family education Job Description : Treat adult neuro and occasional complex orthopedic patients- No aquatic experience required- All therapists work two evenings per week until 8 : 00 PM- Work within a multi-discipline clinic offering PT, OT, and SLP services- Treat a wide range of patient diagnoses including post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal conditions, and degenerative diseases- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records documentation- Collaborate with a team to provide comprehensive care across age groups from infants to geriatrics- Engage in patient and family education, as well as safety and injury prevention strategies- Participate in developing and assessing long and short-term goals and plans of carePlease note that prior employment with affiliated health systems may affect eligibility for this position.
