Full Stack Software Engineer

The Opportunity :

We're looking for a passionate, full-stack software engineer to work with a fast-paced, highly collaborative software development team building and launching capability for Enterprise web-based systems in the Cybersecurity field.

You'll have the opportunity to work on automation of nation-level, mission-critical security processes, workflows, and sensor data in risk management, compliance, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.

You'll be responsible for complex requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of high-quality, secure, and performant features.

You'll leverage your technical expertise in configuration management, web technologies, software, and data management. You’ll use your communication skills to work with a diverse team of analysts and engineers to build, test, and operate system capabilities.

You should have expertise with full-stack web application development, an understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design principles, and be able to learn new languages, technologies, and codebases quickly.

You should be able to work independently on features while collaborating with a team to review code and solve problems.

You Have :

  • 2+ years of experience working on software development teams
  • 2+ years of experience with object oriented programming, including C# or Java
  • 2+ years of experience with web development languages, including HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
  • 2+ years of experience with version control, including Git
  • 1+ years of experience with relational databases, including SQL Server or PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of programming fundamentals, concepts, and language mechanics
  • Knowledge of web technologies, web applications, software systems and networks, and security
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Nice If You Have :

  • Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Cloud hosting and Systems Administration such as AWS or Windows
  • Experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core / Standard, Web API, IIS, MVC, or LINQ / Entity Framework
  • Experience with Scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
  • Experience with pub / sub tools such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries or frameworks such as jQuery, d3, React, or Vue
  • Experience with Containers such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification such as Security+

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
