We are looking for a Leader to join our team and willing to learn and develop!
The Team Leader is involved and directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including Speed of Service, CEMs, Food Waste and Safety Standards.
Sets the tone for a shift and acts as a role model for the team. The Leader assists the Operational Directors in opening and closing the restaurant and managing money.
Leads the restaurant in accomplishing Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue’s vision and ensuring the values are being lived on a daily basis.
The Team Leader offers immediate and respectful response to guest's needs. Assists in training of new hires and responsible for the development of Team Members.

Team Leader Responsibilities :
- Supports the Directors / Leadership in helping achieve goals and targets set for the restaurant and ensures these are communicated to the wider team.
- Participates in the day-to-day operational activities of the restaurant.
- Upholds Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue’s values and ensures team members are living these on a daily basis.
- Leads team members during a shift, providing opportunities for support, development and encouragement.
- Recognizing team members who have exhibited the values and are performing well.
- Offers immediate and respectful response to guest's needs and works to resolve any complaints quickly and professionally.
- Assists in training and mentoring of new hires, sets the tone for a shift, and acts as a role model for our team.
- Opens and / or closes the restaurant, leading the shift ensuring it is successful in guest service.
- Counts drawers and finalizes the transactions for the day.
- Holds Team Members accountable to daily expectations.
- Leads in Running Breaks at appropriate times.
- Ensures dining room and bathrooms are clean through walk-throughs.
- For Back of House Team Leaders, ensure the kitchen facilities are being clean and safety and quality standards are being met.
Knowledge and Experience :
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience working in a leadership role in the food service industry is preferred.
- For the Front of House Team Leaders, must be able to work outside in the sun during drive thru.
- Demonstrates ability to train and mentor team members.
- Must be available to work a minimum of four days per week.
- Night Shift Availability must be available to work from 2 p.m. or 5 p.m. until 10 : 45 p.m.
- Day Shift Availability must be open from 5 : 45 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate team schedules.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects 25+ lbs. and stand for long periods.
