Job Summary :

The Assistant Nurse Manager acts as a first line manager in assuming responsibility for the clinical manager of assigned staff on a designated shift.

As such, he / she has shift responsibility and accountability for patient care activities and supports and extends the administrative leadership provided by the Nurse Manager.

She / he regularly uses her / his independent judgment in connecting with her / his managerial responsibilities.

Job Essentials : 3 years Medical / Surgical or Critical Care Nursing experience required. Cardiac experience preferred. Management experience preferred.

Council Leadership experience preferred. Flexibility is schedule preferred.

Education Requirements : BSN required, MSN preferred. Certification in Specialty preferred

License / Certification / Registry : NJRN, BLS, ACLS, BAC required. Certifiction in Specialty preferred.
