Overview :
The Staffing Coordinator for Nursing Services will be responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing employees.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain the master nursing schedule.
- Prepare daily matrix sheets and work diligently to fill.
- Communicate with Staffing Agencies as needed.
- Track all attendance of staff and ensure there is coverage and make-up weekends are scheduled.
- Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action.
- Works with the Director of Nursing to schedule training classes.
- Maintain float and mandating list.
- Follow Union guidelines.
- Keep within the nursing budget.
QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
- Must be string in Excel and Word)
- High School diploma or higher
- Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility.
- Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
- Work independently

- Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word, a plus

- Excellent organizational skills
