Job Description
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Develop and qualify hands-on tests; participate in design reviews, verification, and validation testing.
- Evaluate and process design change qualifications; assist in developing product specifications.
- Conduct risk evaluation and assessment; collect and analyze data; review Engineering protocols and reports.
- Compose and submit protocols and reports as applicable; handle other Quality Management System (QMS) or Quality-related tasks as assigned.
- Provide guidance to junior Quality team members as needed.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 2-4+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role, particularly within the medical device industry, with a preference for new product development (NPD).
- Experience in developing and testing electromechanical devices.
- Knowledge and prior experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ability to apply statistical analysis tools, backed by prior experience.
- Familiarity with firmware and software validation, with some hands-on experience preferred.
Desireable-
Experience in robotics or systems engineering within the medical device industry.Quality Engineer Certification.Training and / or certification in Lean / Six Sigma.
Experience with Minitab or other statistical programs.Proficiency in Design Tolerance Analysis and methods.Familiarity with SolidWorks / CAD.
