- Shift : Day 5x7.5-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 00)-Work location : Onsite; Lacey, WA -Compensation : $55 to $61 per hourDuties and Responsibilities-Administer standardized psychological tests and assessments to evaluate students' intellectual, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Assess for learning disabilities, developmental delays, emotional disturbances, and other conditions that may affect academic performance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop IEPs for students with special needs.-Help tailor educational programs and interventions to meet the specific needs of students.
- Offer one-on-one or group counseling sessions to help students cope with emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges.-Address issues such as anxiety, depression, bullying, self-esteem, social skills, and trauma.
- Provide crisis intervention in situations such as family crises, self-harm, or incidents of violence.-Collaborate with teachers and administrators to design and implement behavior management strategies in the classroom.
Education Qualifications-Bachelor's Degree Experience-1 - 5 years of directly related experience Required-Relevant experience in working with children, adolescents, or within an educational setting, often gained through internships or work as a school counselor, behavioral therapist, or in a related field.
