Weve been around for a while and we keep getting stronger. Layfield is seeking an enthusiastic, and customer-focused Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
The Account Manager is responsible for servicing and managing the business needs of Layfield Geosynthetics customers in defined market segments and ensure sales targets are met and gross profits are achieved.
The Account Manager works closely with key divisional staff within the Geosynthetics business unit. This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Renton, WA office.
Frequent travel within a regionally defined sales territory will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow market share with a strong focus of making consistent cold calls
- Actively manage and grow the assigned territory
- Understanding each customers needs and developing tailored solutions
- Analyzing data to understand consumer behavior and increase sales
- Utilize CRM to manage daily activities and customer information.
- Prospecting and developing exciting business relationships based on trust and respect
- Maintaining knowledge of current and new company products and services
- Represent Layfield at tradeshows and other events
Education & Experience
- Completion of post-secondary education in business or civil engineering
- 3-5 years of sales experience with numerous product lines, industrial and / or construction sales
- Construction Industry : 1 year (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with your customers needs in mind
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience using a CRM would be considered an asset
Working Conditions
Schedule : Monday to Friday
Travel requirement : Up to 50% travel
Work Location : On the road
