Project Manager - Hybrid Remote
We are seeking a Project Manager - Hybrid Remote at our downtown Cleveland, Ohio wealth management firm. This position will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of Clearstead projects, ranging from process improvement, acquisition integration, system decisioning, system development, documentation gathering, and organizational changes.
The Project Manager will be part of the Clearstead Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring the successful execution of projects from initial planning through project completion.
They will collaborate closely with the PMO Manager, project owners, project stakeholders, and leadership to drive timely project completion and transparent status reporting.
The Project Manager will assist in the formulation and tracking of project scopes, objectives, and costs, for the projects they are assigned.
This position offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week after initial training period.
Position responsibilities :
- Work with stakeholders and project owners to formulate project charters : scope, objectives, costs, requirements, tasks, resources, and project milestones
- Develop project plans and manage progress against established timelines and budgets
- Manage and coordinate all internal and external resources for projects using project management methodology
- Monitor progress of projects, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures
- Prepare project reports and present updates on project progress to stakeholders and PMO Manager
- Organize and lead project meetings with project owners, project stakeholders, and external resources
- Develop and maintain relationships and effective communication channels with project owners, project stakeholders, and external resources
- Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports for stakeholders and senior leadership. Communicate project status, risks, accomplishments as needed
- Ensures that proper policies and procedures are written in support of systems and processes to facilitate system utilization and operational effectiveness
- Completes other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
Essential skills and experience :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Sciences
- 2-4 years of Project Management experience
- Knowledge and experience within Financial Services preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills required
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with aggressive deadlines
- Strong computer proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of the organization
- Strong team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the organization
