About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2686 To $2984 Job Title : Interventional Radiology Rad Tech Job Specialty : General Radiology Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 5x8-hour shifts (may consider 4x10-hour shifts) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Two (2) years of experience License : Current Technician License accepted in the state of operation Certifications : - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)- VIR Certified Must-Have : - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)- VIR Certification- Two years of experience - Technician License accepted in the state Job Description : Demonstrate competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning to consistently produce radiologic images of diagnostic quality.
- Work collaboratively with department members to resolve problems quickly.- Exhibit flexibility, team spirit, compassion, respect, politeness, and accountability when interacting with customers.
- Show awareness and sensitivity regarding patients' rights in all interactions.- Instruct and prepare patients for examinations;
assist Radiologist during procedures.- Demonstrate proficiency in operating all equipment and report malfunctions to manager or lead.
- Complete all assigned procedures in a timely manner; assist with room turnover and support colleagues as needed.- Maintain medication security, ensuring access only for authorized personnel.
- Provide health care services proficiently to all age groups in own job category.- Exhibit competency in interpersonal relationships with individuals of all ages.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS.- Participate in hospital performance improvement activities, including BPI projects and task forces, when required.
- Maintain confidentiality using personal password and secure patient care modules.- Answer technical inquiries from physicians or hospital personnel in a professional manner, maintaining good phone etiquette.
