ViiV Healthcare was created as a joint venture by Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline in November 2009 with both companies transferring their HIV assets to the new company.

The Director, Rukobia Marketing is focused on the strategic development and management of market penetration strategies within the pharmaceutical sector.
The primary responsibility is to enhance brand presence by cultivating a deep understanding of key customers and competitors, identifying growth opportunities, and working closely with the sales force to ensure the effective implementation of the Brand Marketing plan.
The Director will be based out of ViiV Healthcare's US Headquarters in the Durham / Chapel Hill / Wake Forest / Raleigh / Cary area & eligible for a relocation package within the US.
- Promoting Fostemsavir through a variety of channels, such as multimedia, events, and sales promotions
- Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive communication plans to advertise effectively
- Understanding pricing approaches, using modern KPIs to evaluate the performance of key marketing tactics, leadership of cross-functional teams, close collaboration with Global commercial counterparts to develop and implement strategies and tactics to achieve corporate goals (sales, profit, share).
All work must be culturally sensitive and competent to address the diversity and socio-economic standing of patients
- Successful partnership with US Medical
- Supporting special projects for lifecycle brands is also a critical component, requiring a strategic approach to ensure ongoing brand development and market relevance
- Oversees Healthcare Professional (HCP), Direct-to-Patient (DTP), and Omnichannel marketing efforts, acting as both an internal and external brand champion
- Effective resource allocation and total budget management are essential, ensuring that resources are used appropriately and efficiently to maximize brand impact and market penetration
- Strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical market, capable of collaborating across various teams to drive brand growth and achieve market penetration goals
- Leading and role modeling performance with integrity, understanding, teaching, and explaining commercial policies and practices
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree & 5 plus years of pharmaceutical experience in a marketing OR combination of sales & marketing roles
- Direct line management experience
Preferred Qualifications :
- MBA or Masters Degree in Marketing or related disciplines
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing
- Experience commercializing products in sensitive disease states in the US
- Experience in Market Research, marketing promotions, strategy, tactics and resource allocation
- Practical experience with prescription brand marketing principles
- Ability to motivate, lead and influence across various levels and within various functions
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal influence and prioritization skills
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated analytical skills
- Knowledge and practical application of compliance acumen in the pharmaceutical space
