About The Position
- Job Title : RN - Labor & Delivery - Days Job Specialty : RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day, 7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm (Every other weekend, 2 major and 2 minor holidays) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Less than 1 year (Completion of accredited / approved school of nursing with required clinical hours) License : Valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact) Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AWHONN Must-Have : - Ability to read, write, and speak English language - Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to function in a fast-paced environment - Strong time management, analytical, and critical thinking skills - Basic computer skills Job Description : - Practice using current clinical standards to provide exemplary patient care.
- Perform the Nursing Process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Ensure care is individualized, culturally aware, and uses evidence-based practices.
- Coordinate care effectively using diverse communication methods. - Engage in relationship-based, patient-centered care.
- Team up with care givers for delivering safe, high-quality patient care. - Partake in performance improvement initiatives and research utilization.
- Serve as a mentor or preceptor for fellow nursing professionals. - Participate in professional development, ongoing education, and competency assessments.
- Uphold healthcare system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies. - Support efficient resource use and proactive patient care planning.
