Position Overview : The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing system upgrade projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.
The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and utilizing business analysis skills to meet project objectives and drive business value.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Execution :
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for system upgrade projects. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary.
System Upgrades :
Lead system upgrade initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement system enhancements.
Conduct post-upgrade assessments to ensure successful deployment.
Vendor Management :
Identify and engage with vendors for project-related services and products. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.
Business Analysis :
Gather and analyze business requirements to define project scope and objectives. Translate business needs into technical specifications and project deliverables.
Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement :
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback and ensure alignment with project goals.
Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong relationships.
Risk Management :
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage project risks and issues to minimize impact on project outcomes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on system upgrades and vendor management.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
