ORBIS is seeking experienced Mission Specialist Deep Dive Analysts to join our growing company as part of a large, customer-run program in specialized mission-focused offices.
The Mission Specialist will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to the process that shapes government policy and impactful operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all-source intelligence research, analysis, report writing, and report editing.
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Project planning to include : operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of an operation.
- Preparation and presentation of written and oral briefings to all levels of customer management.
- Potential for TDY travel.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEducation and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree is required or 5 additional years of relevant operational experience for this position.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant operational experience within the sponsor's organization or other relevant organization(s) in the Intelligence Community.
Required Skills / Abilities
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Requires an active TS / SCI w / Poly.
- High degree of personal integrity.
- Ability to simultaneously manipulate multiple sets of data to derive inputs for deep dive packages.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage status reporting and scheduling.
- Familiarity with the customer's report writing standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills / Abilities
- Relevant Customer Certifications.
- Basic familiarity with both tactical and strategic military operations.
- Familiarity with various Intelligence Community partners and their operations.
- Proficiency with software and databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government.
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus!
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Routine video conference and / or in-person meetings.
- Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
