Remote, consulting, pricing configuration analyst opportunity
Our client is looking to add a Senior Pricing Configuration Analyst to join their team for a 3-month long contracting position.
This is a fully remote position, starting in early January. I provided the position description below.
Position Description : Anticipated Start Date 1 / 08 / 2024- 4 / 8 / 2024 or Longer. CST Hours are Preferred
The Senior Configuration Analyst :
- Obtains and analyzes the internal workflow, setup and design of the software applications.
- Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives, creates documentation to describe program development, benefit logic, medical coding, work instructions and corrections.
- Develops a deep understanding of the system capabilities and evaluate requirements to determine configuration design to assure company objectives are met.
- Provide analysis and documentation that supports configuration management, design, requirements traceability, and audits controls needed to meet state and federal regulatory requirements
- The client is adding new PBMs in 2024. As such, will setup pharmacy benefits, networks, and pricing for Employers, ACA, Med Supp, Med Adv (starting in 2024)
- Set up new products.
- Testing and documentation of new product configuration
- Raise potential issues
- Client will upgrade Health Rules Payor in early 2024 and is facing 9 new releases to upgrade.
Position Requirements
- Healthcare insurance experience (PBMs, Medicare Advantage regulations)
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Minimum of 5 years’ configuration experience (pricing experience preferred)
- 2+ years’ experience in HealthRules configuration
- Must have experience with Pricing module in HRP
- HRP upgrade experience preferred, not required
