Being a Security Operations Engineer at iManage Means
You will be responsible for development and maintenance of the systems that make up our security stack. This stack consists of a wide variety of technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Windows, Linux, AWS, Azure, Git, Splunk, Qualys, CRIBL, O365, and many other technologies.
This job will require you to work with other teams throughout the organization to integrate our security stack with the technologies that power our business.
iM Responsible For
- Connecting cloud services to logging platforms using data processing tools to broaden visibility into our various environments.
- Implementing automated security processes and controls across a public and private cloud environment.
- Developing, deploying, and maintaining security operations infrastructure using automation.
- Interfacing with infrastructure, SRE and other teams throughout the organization with the objective to provide high quality and low friction, security operations services.
- Troubleshooting application and networking issues relating to our security operations stack.
- Preparing and documenting standard operating procedures.
iM Qualified Because I Have
- 3+ years of experience in IT or related fields.
- Understanding of containers and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- NIX administration experience including but not limited to CentOS / RedHat, Debian / Ubuntu, and BSD.
- Experience configuring and deploying SIEM infrastructure such as Splunk, Elasticsearch, Sentinel.
- Hands on experience with public cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP, O365.
- Experience using version control technologies such as SVN or Git.
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Hands on experience with PKI & encryption technology, especially SSL / TLS.
Bonus Points if I Have
- Hands on experience with PKI & encryption technology, especially SSL / TLS.
- Hands on experience with containers and container orchestration technology.
- Scripting experience with Powershell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience using automation technologies such as Chef, Ansible, Salt, Terraform, or Puppet to configure and deploy infrastructure.
- Kernel level knowledge of *NIX systems.
